A foundational principle of all things Orphan Wisdom has been that money should not be the sole reason that those who really want to attend an event can’t do so. This remains important to us. Your contribution, as a Founding Patron of the Scriptorium, helps make that possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I receive a tax receipt for my contribution?
No. Donations made in the US and Canada only receive tax receipts when made to a registered charity ( 501.c(3) in US). As this is a contribution and Orphan Wisdom / Iron God of Mercy is a Canadian private corporation, there are no tax receipts available. 

Is my contribution made in Canadian or US Dollars?
Contributions can be made in CAD dollars by Canadian participants. International participants are welcome to make a contribution in US Dollars.

How will I know that my contribution has been received?
Upon completion of your contribution, you should receive an automatic email to your inbox confirming your contribution. 

What is my contribution supporting, more specifically?

  • Provide funding for the development of The Scriptorium.
  • Subsidize the scribes participating in the in-person Boreal Sessions.
  • Help ongoing administrative costs.
  • Your financial contribution provides an opportunity for those who could not otherwise participate.

Can I make more than one financial contribution?
Yes, we would be grateful if that was possible for you. 

Is membership to the scriptorium included in my Founding Patron contribution?
No. Lineage Membership is available separately. (Other than the Private Founding Patron Boreal Session).
